-MUSA KONNEH AND OTHERS TO LEAD MILWAUKEE FOR
TWO YEARS.
The long awaited general elections of The Wisconsin Mandingo Association of
Milwaukee (WIMAM) Inc have given birth to a new breed of officers for the
local FELMAUSA chapter. The election held on Sunday, June 15th. 2008, was
well attended and observers from the Islamic Dawah center, The Pan African
Association of Wisconsin, The Liberia Mandingo Association of Chicago,
among others, were in attendant. According to the certified results from the
election commissioners of WIMAM, the following individuals have been elected
to head our noble organization for the next two years. Those certified are:
-Musa “Papa” Konneh, President, unopposed, with 98% of the votes
-Alpha “Yathor” Kromah, Vice President, unopposed, with 98% of
the votes
-Mr. Abdulaye “Dukuly” Bility, a very popular and a former
Liberian community activist in Conakry in Guinea, defeated
Mr. Abraham Donzo 91.3 % to 17.4% respectively Secretary
-Fatumata T. Bility, Treasurer, unopposed, the only female
candidate and CEO of Fatima African Hair Braiding and former
Treasurer with 98% of the votes. Cont.

Philadelphia, senior members of this renowned
Mandingo organization have send a message of
congratulation to Hon. Musa “Papa” Konneh as the

who made it cleared is Mr. Talata Sheriff, the planning
chairman of the upcoming convention and president of
